Fax Operator - Jakarta

Duties and Responsibilities :
  • Input data to the data filing system
  • Input all incoming and outgoing documents to the data filing system
  • Maintain filing and recording of any incoming and outgoing fax including distribution to the relevant officers.
  • Follow‐up email from ASEAN Member States.
  • Operate the fax machine
  • Operate fax machine to send and receive fax
  • Make copy and attach the report of outgoing document to the concerned Division
  • Follow‐up the incomplete incoming and outgoing fax documents.
  • Coordinate incoming and outgoing correspondence
  • Ensure incoming correspondence is submitted to the relevant recipient.
  • Ensure outgoing correspondence is transmitted to the intended recipient.
Requirements :
  • Completion of appropriate technical or other training relevant to the position with a minimum two (2) years work experience.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues.
  • Ability to operate as an effective team member.
  • Entry level oral and written communication skills.
  • Basic level in computer skills with adequate knowledge in Microsoft Office​.
Remuneration and Benefits :

Successful candidate will be offered the post with a probation period of six months and monthly salary commensurate with his/her personal qualifications. There are other applicable benefits which include monthly transportation allowance, outpatient medical reimbursement, hospitalisation insurance, and an annual bonus of a month’s basic salary. Upon completion of the probationary period, the candidate will be confirmed on an initial up to three‐year contract, inclusive of the six‐month probationary period.

Technical Assistant Executive Support Division Office of The Secretary-General - Jakarta

Duties and Responsibilities :
  • Provide administration and programme support to the Senior Officer, particularly in relation to administration, research, public outreach and engagement activities
  • Assist with the preparation of memoranda, research briefs, talking points, meeting reports
  • Assist in the development of administrative processes within the Division
  • Maintain relationships with divisions in ASEC, and external partners
  • Assist with the coordination of meetings, events and initiatives
  • Maintain records and ensure appropriate levels of access and confidentiality
  • Provide support to other team members on administrative policies and procedures as appropriate.
Requirements :
  • Bachelors degree in political science, international relations, business, public policy, social science or other related fields from a reputable university
  • Minimum two (2) years of work experience in a related field
  • Demonstrated ability to plan and organise tasks and work flows
  • Ability to work under pressure and adhere to deadlines
  • Good oral and written communication skill
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Cross-cultural sensitivity
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain sound working relationships with stakeholders
  • Demonstrated commitment to working as part of a team
  • Sound command of English, written and spoken.
General Qualifications :

Computer literacy and proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office tools; ability to multi-task, work long and irregular hours, and perform tasks outside the usual job scope; ability to function effectively, independently and as part of a team; and a willingness to travel frequently on short notice.

Remuneration and Benefits :

Indonesia Stock Exchange

Coinciding with the 30th Anniversary of the Capital Market Re-Activation in Indonesia, Surabaya Stock Exchange was merged into Jakarta Stock Exchange. This merger created a new entity in Indonesia’s capital market, namely Indonesia Stock Exchange.

In the Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders held on 30th October 2007, all shareholders of both Exchanges have agreed to the merger planning and the forming of Indonesia Stock Exchanges (IDX). The legitimizations of the legal aspect and the company’s articles of association by the Minister of Justice and Human Rights of Indonesia have been completed. Thus, effective on the 1st December 2007, Indonesia Stock Exchange will act as a single Bourse that facilitates equities, fixed incomes, and derivative instruments trading. The existence of this Bourse will certainly strengthen our capital market and attract more people to invest in Indonesia.

We also believe that this merger will improve Indonesia’s market efficiency. Since Indonesia Stock Exchange facilitates all market segments, securities firms and issuers will only need to be listed in one Bourse. IDX will also have an integrated trading infrastructure that facilitates all the traded instruments. As a result, our market capitalization will certainly grow and be able to compete in regional scale. With this merger, we hope to establish a stronger capital market that could serve as an alternative investment and act as a mirror of the national economy.

One important aspect that we are facing right now is the information distribution to the capital market participants and public community. If in the past, the information were distributed through two Bourses, now IDX will become the central of all information distribution and disclosures. For that reason, we will gradually unite the information available in the two Bourses’ Websites into the Indonesia Stock Exchange’s Website.

To achieve this purpose, we need to make some adjustments, such as the unison of two infrastructures, systems, databases, contents, and other additional features. This process will definitely takes time. So, with deep gratitude, we kindly hope that users of our website could understand if, currently, this transitional website is far from what they might have expected.
